Corrales International School (CIS) is a K-12 tuition-free public charter school in Albuquerque offering the first International Baccalaureate authorized Primary Years Programme (PYP) in NM, a thriving IB candidate Middle Years Programme (MYP), and a Dual Enrollment program for our 11th and 12th grades.

Corrales International School’s PYP is a spanish immersion program with Kinder and 1st grades taught 90% in Spanish and 10% in English, and 2nd/3rd grades and 4th/5th grades team-taught in a 50/50 model with all subjects covered in each language. Our MYP requires students to participate in Mandarin Chinese and Spanish as well. IB schools share a common philosophy–a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education that CIS believes is important for our students.
