We are a public high school that opened on September 8, 2010.
We operate under a Charter granted by the State Commissioner of Education.
We are independent of the local School District
Board of Education and managed by a Board of Trustees.
We serve 100 9th graders in the 2010-11 school year and up to 400 9th- 12th grade students by year 2014.
We receive public funding.
Charter schools are allowed to raise funds and receive private contributions.
Charter schools are considered public schools and cannot charge tuition.
