SAU #9 is composed of seven school districts Ė Albany, Bartlett, Conway, Chatham, Eaton, Hartís Location, and Jackson.
Mission of SAU #9
The mission of SAU #9 is to provide appropriate opportunities for learning, developing, and functioning as life-long learners and responsible citizens in a global community.
In the Bartlett School District the Josiah Bartlett Elementary School houses students in grades K-8. The Conway School District has three elementary schools; Conway Elementary, John Fuller, and Pine Tree. Kennett Junior/Senior High School houses the grade 7-8 Junior High and grade 9-12 Senior High. The Jackson Grammar School serves students in Grades K-6. Since Albany, Chatham, Eaton, and Hartís Location do not have schools, their students attend the schools in Bartlett, Conway, and Jackson (or in Chathamís case, MSAD #72). In the SAU #9 elementary schools, student enrollment has remained relatively stable since 1996-97. This year Kennett Junior/Senior High School enrollment is up by 63 students over the 1999-00 totals, and up by 184 students since 1996/97.
