Jordan is located in Garfield County (of which it is the county seat) 86 miles NW of Miles City between Van Norman and Sand Springs along Highway 200/59. Also near the Charles M. Russell Wildlife Refuge, Jordan offers plenty of outdoor recreation and watchable wildlife. The Hell Creek Recreation Area provides access to Fort Peck Lake and excellent water sports opportunities. Visitors can glimpse area history and fossil exhibits at the Garfield County Museum.
