The West Haven School District is comprised of 12 schools and an Administration Building. There is one high school, West Haven High School, with an alternate high school, Stiles Alternate Learning Center. There are two middle schools, Bailey Middle School and Carrigan Middle School. The eight elementary schools, which house students from Grades K-5, “feed" into the two middle schools. Students from Forest School, Savin Rock Community School, Thompson School and Washington School go to Carrigan Middle School for Grades 6, 7, and 8. Students from Haley School, Mackrille School, Molloy School and Pagels School all go to Bailey Middle School after they complete Grade 5. There are also pre-school programs located at Haley and Mackrille Schools. Those classes are managed by the Pupil Personnel and Readiness Departments.
The school district has approximately 6500 students of every race, color and nationality. We are very proud to all be Westies, and part of the West Haven School Community.
