Summit School District is located in the mountains of Summit County, Colorado. The towns and communities of the school district include Dillon, Silverthorne, Keystone, Montezuma, Frisco, Breckenridge, Summit Cove and Copper Mountain.
Summit School District is nestled between the ski areas of Copper Mountain, Keystone, Araphoe Basin and Breckenridge.
The schools of Summit School District are Summit High School, Summit Middle School, Breckenridge Elementary, Dillon Valley Elementary, Frisco Elementary, Silverthorne Elementary, Summit Cove Elementary, and Upper Blue Elementary.
Our K-5 academic program includes spanish, art, music, physical education and winter activities. Our middle school, which includes grade 6-8, features a wide variety of exploratory and academic core courses. Summit High School offers a full selection of academic and elective courses with access to a variety of clubs, activities and sports, including a world class ski team.
