The Arizona School for the Arts is a public non-profit charter school in downtown Phoenix for 370 students in grades 6-12. Widely considered one of the most successful charter schools in Arizona and the nation, ASA has been labeled an “Excelling” school for the past 2 years under NCLB guidelines and was recognized this year as a “Spotlight on Success” school by the Arizona Department of Education. ASA utilizes a unique schedule in which academic classes are held in the morning and arts classes are held in the afternoon. All academic faculty are full-time, all arts faculty are part-time. 100% of students are college-bound. There are student waiting lists at every grade level. Salaries are competitve and include a full retirement, health, and dental benefit package for full-time employees.
